Part of Ventura County Ballet’s mission is to bring ballet to audiences that might not otherwise get the opportunity to experience it. Throughout the season VCB performs excerpts from The Nutcracker or makes costumed appearances at various locations in the Fall and leading up performances. A few examples of past outreach performances have been elementary schools, libraries, holiday tree-lighting events, hospitals and youth community centers. The locations and types vary year to year.

There are a small number of dancers who participate in outreach performances and you will be contacted if your dancer is invited to perform. If there is a public event VCB would welcome your support by attending, even if your dancer isn’t performing. Details will be announced closer to the outreach performance.
